 Omnia Van Conversion Project
In this project, a 2019 Ram Promaster is converted into an awesome Class B Camper Van with 2 slide outs and so much more.

Q&A
Q: Why did you build a conversion van with 2 slide outs?
A: After owning several types of RVs including a travel trailer, toy hauler & pop-up campers we decided it was time for something different... Read More
Q: Can you build me one?
Q: How much did it cost to build?
Q: How long did it take to build?
Q: What why did you choose this van model?

The side slide out houses a full bath complete with toilet, shower, sink, cabinets and even a skylight.
Since we wanted a deep shower pan to help keep water from getting out when taking a shower, we decided to use a 12" high tub. The shower tub slides up under the bath vanity while the slide is in during travel mode. The toilet is still usable when slid in.

Lots of storage and room
A large pantry gives lots of room for groceries on long extended trips. All the doors except for the bottom, swing a full 180 degrees out of the way. Just for a little added safety, the corners are all rounded. The refrigerator/freezer is 11.6 cu ft. Good luck finding that in any other class B.

The bed when slid out, exposes more counter space and a bench seat. The dining table mounts on a rail at the foot end of the bed slide out. An adjustable Slide allows the table to be positioned to use at the bench seat or any position including all the way over the counter.

Two clothes cabinets (1 on each side of the bed) each house a custom sized duffel bag that makes the transfer of clothes a breeze for us.

The queen bed has a tent style window at the head end with 4 modes: Closed (solid vinyl), clear vinyl, open with screen and full open pass through. The rear power awning has sound and thermal insulation, blue tooth speakers and lights. When it is down, it keeps the sleeping environment secure and snug.

One of the big gems I designed into the Omnia is the tailgate. A powered solid awning with bluetooth speakers and LED lights opens to reveal a pullout outdoor kitchen prep unit. The OD kitchen has swing down doors that double as a prep counter and is still usable with the bed slid out.

Connecting and disconnecting utilities is a breeze with the utility center hose and cord reels. The reels manage 50ft of 30A RV cord and 25ft of water hose. I also installed a small air compressor. It is handy for airing up tires and is also used for the rear air lift suspension. The airlift suspension is controlled by the PCAN system. The levels can be adjusted by using the custom Android Tablet.

The galley has approximately 9ft of linear counter space, a microwave oven and lots of storage room. The first lower cabinet door is actually a drawer slide out that houses a trash receptacle and room for other cleaning supplies. The sink is stainless steel and was re-purposed from an old 70's travel trailer that I had owned. The Moen faucet has a detachable spray wand and was also a recycled from that same trailer.
